    Due to a very bad virus putting my computer out of wack, w I went to reformat my computer I decided to install Win7. I don't notice any difference so far.

    I took this shot through a window.

    2-26-10
    Aperture Priority
    F8
    Iso 800
    focal length 300mm with 2x TC
    Metering is center weight

    Cropped in PhotoShop
    Level Adjustment used, along with crop and denoise and Smart Sharpen

    Hi Vince you did well for having a low shutter speed 1/200 600mm plus the camera crop factor !!!!

    I think the point of focus is on the breast area and not the eyes !!! Difficult to pin point with the little birds !!!

    Did well with exposure and bg, just a little light on the tail underside and might select the right side of the face then lighten, light was coming from the left side !!! Doing well !!!

    Hi Vince. Looking good. Al's helpful points noted above. Your processing looks good to me - I often have trouble getting the sharpening right, and yours looks just right on my screen. I love these little yellow-rumps.

    Hi Vince - agree with AL - doing well - big improvement here!! Sharp details - noise under control.
    agree that looks like the point of focus was not on the head/eye but alll that comes with practice.
    Good show :)
