Good intent stare captured on the eagle. Fish is nice touch. Wing position and feather detail is nice.
The whites have detail but the feet/top of head seems a bit hot on my monitor (?).
If mine I would probably have cropped more off the left side of the image and had more canvas on the right side - I have been told in my attempts at good crops that there should be room for the bird to fly into. (I am not the best at cropping - yet:D).
Love eagles.

Hi Deb,
I hear what you are saying about the crop. I cropped it the way I did to catch the splash of the water and the water droplets. These show up much better in larger size images.
Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

Alan-
Thanks for explanation on your reasoning for crop - it helps me to know how others go through the process.

Sweet image Alan. Nice timing and capture.
I like the way everything leans forward that adds to the flight action to the right. The catch makes this a special shot. For my personal tastes the splashes do not add much to the picture and I would prefer more space on the right for the eagle to fly into .
nice details and wonderful timing. I agree about more room on the right. Understand why you left the room on the left. So why not both? A pano style might work well here.
Great action captured here, Alan. I would agree with adding more room on the right if you have it. Personally, I find the rather large copyright symbol rather distracting - especially because it covers up part of the bird. Can you make this smaller? :) Well done.
Wonderful action and stare from the Eagle if you have the canvas I would agree with the others on giving the Eagle more space on the right no reason why you need to crop it so tight.
