    Beautiful capture, Jan- I particularly like the feather and colour details you captured. I would say the fill flash worked well. These guys are seriously difficult customers to get to pose! It looks like he has some pollen on his forehead, too:). I have them in the garden, but sadly NO images:(

    Nice detail in the bird. I like the amethyst iridescence of the neck area. Eye detail good as well.
    The out-of-focus background flowers, I think, work with the in-focus flowers in the foreground.

    Nice picture and I like the lit up throat. However, I think the bright bright orange flowers overpower the bird. Maybe desaturate the flowers would leave them in the picture but put the emphasis back on the bird.

    Beautiful shot. I like the strong colors and the light in this image.
    The flowers are great and show where the bird lives.
