I like the moving feet and sharp head. Wing position could be better, nice mood to it!

Paul, I like the mood of the image but can't help wish it were just a tad bit lighter on the bird, esp. the eye. Nice blue color tone and soft blur.

Hi Paul, I too like the blurred feet. I also like the placement of the bird in the frame. It would be fun to see a slightly lighter version for comparison.

This is original image out of the camera..only thing done here is cropping and NR x 2.
Didn't like the head angle in original so I changed it...

Very nice mood to this, Paul! :) Love the pose and processing. Personally I prefer the original version over the repost; if I were to do any lightening, I'd restrict it to just the bird. Very well done.

Like the OP Paul, and I love the colour of the sandhill crane. How was your trip?

Paul, I prefer the OP also, and love the feet:) I hope you enjoyed the trip - it's a trip I hope I'll get to make one

That bottom post - that's the keeper for me. I thought I liked the first two but the closing one is the bomb, Paul! The light coming out of the corner of the frame sets the whole mood.
