    Canon 7D, 500mm F4+1.4x
    1/2500 F5.6
    580EX at +2

    The background is striking! I would like the head a touch more this way, but this is a wonderful image.

    The detail in the whites are super and the streaks in the BG I find add to the appeal of the image.

    Awesome BG, oh my god, +2 flash and still get great details. Hmmmmmmm. Was it dark?

    Image was made at around 3.00PM and I used flash in fill flash mode.

    Strong ambient light will produce harsh shadows and you have to use more flash power to suppress harsh shadows.
    Also distance is another consideration.

    I assumed you shot with better beamer? Thank you for your tip. I need to get my bracket so I can use better beamer too.

    You nailed it Sid... Great Job! Detail and exposure is spot on, and while the neck and body are joined, there is still defined seperation. Background makes this special... gotta love that Gatorland light! :)

    Had a great time at dinner, thanks again to the both of you!
