Welcome to BPN. You must believe strongly in 'starting with a bang'. Thats a home run. Incredible sharpness....killer shooting angle, composition and backgroud. Only wish is a tad more room on top.

    Clemens:

A big welcome to BPN. Always nice to see someone from the IPTs posting.
Well exposed, and sharp, esp. with that shutter speed/lens combo. The house in the background gives it some nice variation in the background. Like the one legged perch.

I might consider a modest crop from the right, but really personal taste.

Cheers. I enjoyed chatting with you.

Lovely photo. I really like the intense stare, the soft grass and the way the photo moves from more intense colours and tones at the top to much softer and more subtle at the bottom.

I wonder how a vertical crop would look with a tad more on top.

Clemens, It was a pleasure to meet you on the IPT. Fantastic pose w/ the raised foot. The gradient BG adds alot to the image-nicely done.:)

Great first post. Is that background light coming from the sunset? Or did you touch it up? Either way, it compliments to the overall image.

Background is coming from the reflection of houses. All natural, nothing touch up.

Wonderful image and I love the low angle. I would suggest a minor crop from the right just past the first blade of grass. 800mm at 1/100, now that's steady. What kind of support?

I have a Gitzo 3541XLS with a Wimberly II head. Legs were totally spread out, as low as you can get.
