This is another image from the Stargazer lilies that I made last month. I liked the silvery sheen to the stamen so I isolated them with the 100mm f/2.8 macro lens and one or two extention tubes. Lighting is natural backlight coming through a window.

Lovely composition and textures. I like the color tones and different color gradations of the stamens.

Lovely lines in this Jules and I like the soft greens and silver sheen as well. The only thing I would maybe change in this lovely image is to slightly lighten the darker green spot in the left corner on top. Great fall of light as well.:)

Simple but still interesting. It has a very nice flow from the bottom to the top.

Another thing I'm learning from this forum is to look past the obvious shot. I don't think I would have ever looked past the colorful flower. :)

Thanks everyone. Vida, I did think about that while processing...I wonder why I didn't change it? Who knows!

Ken, I love to hear when people learn to look past the obvious! Anyone can take a "regular" floral photograph. Taking one that is uniquely yours is what takes practice. :D

Hi Jules, Simple but very effective. I like the lines and very simple balance of color and light.
