    With the rodeo in town, we've had flying Broncos, Bulls and Cowboys!

    One of my better images from the bull riding event Saturday. If you think it's hard getting birds to give you the correct head angle with the correct light angle, just try getting these three subjects to do it for you!

    Canon 20D, 1/1600th, Tv, Evaluative, ISO 800
    Sigma 50-500 / 313mm @ f/ 10, handheld
    Shot as jpg and cropped, slight levels, saturation adjustment, USM in PS Elements 2

    Talk about stop dead action. !!!! Incredible capture and the look in the bulls eye and the contorted figure of the rider is amazing. Thanks for sharing this outstanding image Richard .

    My hat is off to those guys Amazing they climb up knowing they are going to be nailed !!!!!! One excellent image Richard !!!!!

    ...... btw the bull has the best head angle and sure looks in control !!!!!

    Whoa!! Good work on a great capture!
    I just got back from Tucson--it was raining when I was there. I ran a cactus thorn about an inch and a half into my shin not watching where I was going trying to photography a bird! LOL!

    Great shot, the power these animals have is just impressive and you captured it well here!
    Another month or two and PRCA Rodeo will be back in my town..... I can't wait!!
