I found this pair of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks resting under a tree in Wakodahatchee. Their eyes were opening and closing and finally both sets of eyes were open and looking in the same direction at the same time.

Hi Milt Always a treat finding those guys !!!

As presented would take the light strip from the left and some from the bottom. While you made the image not sure if you could have moved left to eliminate the tree by framing, I know your on a boardwalk !!

Two good head angles and a pleasing image !!!!

    Hi Al,
I have re-cropped the image, taking from the bottom and left and just a bit from the right for composition.
    Here it is:

Hi Milt - AL nailed it - Repost is a big improvement - I might just sharpen the eye on the bird on the left a tad more.
    Good show :)

Hi Milt...Nice image ...I like the repost better...You might want to consider cropping off ( or darkening) some of the lighter colored branches at the bottom and cloning out the white spots between the two trees. These bright tones draw the eye too much away from your subjects for my tastes!
