I took this photo on the cape verde island. A osprey was fishing in the sea and after he was done he flew away for the sun.
Took with a canon 30d and a canon 300mm f4 with kenko 1,4 tc.

This is super Thijs. The OOF clouds in the BG frame the bird nicely and I love the bird pose. I wonder for fun if you could boost the colour temp and saturation and really get an orange sky going in the image? Just a thought.

Great silhouette - typical Osprey. Agree with John that the BG sets it off well - could be worth a play with some colour if so inclined.

I agree with above comments. The flight is captured very well, love seeing those talons on these birds. Now if only it had a fish in them...:)

Thanks for the comments! The bg was not really that yellow/orange, so i already edit a bit. Here's a update. Is this better?
