I used my old, old version of Paint Shop Pro's illumination effects, and then switched over for just a bit of "fracking".
Brave little blue jay battling the galaxy's elements! Capturing that bird in flight must have been no mean feat. Good ole PSP. That Illumination effect well and truly lifts this OOTB:)
Gerry, I love your sense of humor. The light rays and the illumination effect is very well done. I wish the bird were more left in the frame but it is still a great looking image!:)
Great wing position on the bird, Gerry and I love the spectral side show! I, too, think the eye needs a hard black with a catchlight but everything else is great!
Excellent pose, Gerry, and I love the light ray effect. I'm not sure, but I wonder if moving the bird a tiny bit closer to the LLC might be an improvement. Very creative image. :)
