    Captured in the Kruger National Park in december, Pose is very simple but i liked the end result, all comments and crits welcome

    I like the HA, sharpness and perfect BG for this bird. Well done!

    Great image with low angle approach. Details on face are sharp - eye a bit dark, but don't know the bird so might be true to what is there. Background is good. I think the pose is very nice - simple is often the best, I think.
    You must have been close.
    I don't know much about flash - so I will ask if the sparkles are from flash or water or both. I might be tempted to tone them down but not sure if that would alter what you want to show from the image.

    Very striking image and composition.. Love the low angle and the touches of grasses in the FG. Sharp and a very pleasing pose with excellent eye contact. Like this a lot Lee and thanks for sharing.

    A beautiful bird well-captured with that low angle, complimentary bg and grasses and I love that eye.

    Really super portrait Lee. The background and foreground are great and the image is very sharp. For my taste I would give a little more room at the top.
