    Barbara,

Greetings. Interesting patterns... not sure what I'm seeing. A tad more color & luminance contrast would be to my liking...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Thanks, Denise, Jackie, Michael, and Indranil. I was balancing a zoom, a polarizer and shooting everything I could find to shoot while strapped into the copter. :-) I got a zoomed out version too of these lovely patterns. If you zoomed in, you had to shoot quickly! They sort of looked like peacock feathers to me.

Barbara, it kind of looks like a mask to me with the eye holes.:) Beautiful colors and patterns.

Love the colors and patterns. Is the grey stuff land or mudflats? :):)

Ha ha - well, I'm from Texas and don't know much about oceans, but what I can tell you from another image - a 'zoomed out' version which includes the land, ocean and distant mountain that what you see here is all under water. So, maybe that means they are mudflats? Good question, Artie! I thought they were cool, whatever they were!

Agree that they are cool and add to the image. They must be mudflats or sandbars that are slightly submerged.

Beautiful abstract, Barbara. I think the diagonal lines that chop across the upper part of the image adds a nice contrast to the rounder areas down below. Beautiful teal and sand combination of colors. So soothing to look at!

Barbara, I really like the colors, patterns, and textures in this one! The waves breaking in the top part of image add interest too. Cool blue colors...
