    Default Abstract - BCNH – 3D Version

I would let you guess the source of this one, but we don’t have that many years! Therefore, I will advise that this is an image of a Black-crowned Night Heron shot at Horicon NWR. It was my first experimental shot with my 300mm f/2.8L and both the 1.4x and 2x mounted to make an 840 lens equivalent. While the scan is not that great, the image turned out very well considering.

Modifications included; Resize to Sq Format, Hue & Saturation, Brightness & Contrast, Shear, Twirl, Poster Edge, 3D Layer, H & S, B/C, Ink Outline and Sharpen.

    Enjoy!

Mark, Very abstract and colorful. It also looks good w/ a CCW rotation.

Mark - this is one of my favorite abstracts that you've done. I love the colors and the lines. It does look 3Dand
it's amazing that it started out as a BC Night Heron:)

Thanks for viewing and comments, Denise. Appreciate it.

I tired all rotations, but only liked this one. The CCW to me is unbalanced, but all visions are not created equal! Respect yours as well. ;)

Not that you're a "Doubting Cheryl", ;) But this is the original from the scan (unretouched, as to the branch through the head), which wasn't of best quality unfortunately.

It was all done in PS4. No other tricks used! :D

This is one of my favorite theme weeks with more to come. Don't know if they willl equal this one, but that is for you all to decide! I just do what I do best and leave the voting to the rest! ;)

Hi Mark! Catching up on the week...

This is way cool! It looks like an aerial view of a miniature world to me. The 3D effect is great. Truly a "wild" bird! :D
