This black crowned night heron, here at his nightly stake out, caught more fish than I've ever seen this night last summer. We had just had a lot of rain in the few days before. Maybe that stirred up the fish into running.
Taken on the Charles River, Watertown, MA.
Any thoughts?
I like the little bit of light on the sunfish. Could use a little more!
And I wish I had a chance for a lower angle, and for his head to be a little more towards me.
I like the patterns in the water from what I can see at this size. Too bad the bird is facing away from you. My tired eyes can't tell much more at this size. We can go up to 800 pixels now.
Absolutely love the way you handled the water. And yes, lower and righter would have been the place to be.
later and love, artie
