    Found this happy little guy in New Mexico recently. Did a couple of things... ;)

    Took the original into Nik Color Efex Pro and applied a film effect - Fuji Velvia, to bring out the colors. Then I went to DAP and used the "realism" effect. Applied a torn edge effect and some sharpening, then went back to Nik and used the "soft gold" reflector effect and put the light source in the upper right. Was hoping to make it seem that there was nice gold sunlight coming from that direction. Sounds like a lot of stuff, but I knew what I wanted and that's what it took! :)

    Very nice work Kerry. Maybe a tiny bit more detail in the eye? I love the detail in the bill area and the open mouth is fantastic. Nice BG work and the torn edges do add a nice touch.:)

    Very nice image, Kerry. Love the pose and bright colors. The watercolor effect and the torn edges add a lot to the image. Agree with Denise on maybe a little more detail in the eye.
