    Default Shrike with goggles

    Hello everyone...
This image was made in my farm... i was lucky to have this beauty on a good perch like this... cause before it was sitting on thorny shrub which was not letting the bird come up in the photo... finally after waiting for an hour or so... i finally got it.... :D:)

I was not happy for the harsh light but could no help...:o:(

    Specs:-
    Nikon P80
    F-stop: f/4.5
    ISO: 64
    SS: 1/800
    exposure: -0.3step

Please suggest me for more improvement.....
    Sudhanshu.....

Seem like your patient have paid off. Love how the bird is perch on top of the trunk so you managed to get feet and tail. The detail in white feather looks good too. Wish I could make out the eye from the black feather more clearly, maybe a catch like would help with this. For me the bird is too center in the frame, might crop it so that the bird is more toward the left.

Sudhanshu, I would crop from the bottom and left side of the image and try to lighten the eye a bit.
You have good Head angle and your whites look good.

Hi - agree with the guys above - some detail in the eye would have been good.
Blacks look like they might be blocked - Whites are in check - done about as good as you can without the benefit of having softer light.
Would crop to remove the bird from the centre of the frame.
    Keep em coming :)

nicely sharp but as you say you needed softer light to reduce contrast. Agree with cropping advice above
