    I like the head pose and the background goes nicely with this bird also. nice one.

    Beautiful shot with great background. Great soft light.
    I only wish for a little more room on the right.

    Congratulations on the 7D. You will love it. It is a fantastic camera.

    Hi Gail, I like this image. The the bird is nicely exposed with good colors and details. The background shows the bird off nicely. Having the bird head angled a bit more towards us might be nice however, I Ok with this presentation. I find myself wishing for a natural perch (personal preference). Thanks for sharing and enjoy your new camera.

    Hi Gail

    Looks like you having some fun with the 7D. An attractive looking bird that we don't get in the UK, unfortunately! I like the soft lighting and the colours are showing well. I feel some slight head turn towards the camera would give better eye contact between viewer and bird. I would also prefer to see on a natural perch.
