Another landscape image from Mount Rainier National Park from early August on a partly cloudy day with heavy morning fog. Again used Photomatix for pseudo-HDR adjustment.

    10D - 24-85mm at 85mm - 1/125 sec at f/4.5 ISO100 handheld

Not sure how best to crop or keep "as is" .... what are your thoughts?

    Thanks.......

    Jay,

This is spectacular looking. Crop is fine. I would not change a thing,

Hey Jay, not sure why there isn't more comments on this, I think it looks great.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if it should be cropped differently but glad to hear it looks OK as it is. This was one of those rare days where the weather was unstable yielding an interesting sky but it did not rain. Made for some nice shots. This park is one of the most scenic places I've seen in a while.

Gorgeous image all the way around! The low clouds swirling around the peak lend a very dramatic feel to the image. The greens are nicely saturated w/o being over the top. Excellent work!

This is a spectacular photo. I love the clouds and the sharpness of the trees in the background.

Thanks for all the comments! Much appreciated.

Believe it or not, this photo went unnoticed after taking it. Others caught my eye and this got lost until I was looking through some pictures from that trip and saw it again; only this time it jumped out as a potentially nice image. I found a couple others I'll post later as well.

    Thanks again for the feedback....

    Jay
