    A Pelican for Denise

    Hi Everyone,
    I took this whilst standing next to Denise at Little Estero Lagoon a couple of weeks ago.
    In-camera blur and minimal PP.
    ID MK3 500 f/4 + 1.4
    ISO 200
    1/4 sec
    +2/3 exp comp
    It was really lovely meeting you Denise...:):)

    Nicki, It was such a pleasure to finally meet you. I have been such a fan of your work. This came out really nice and the high-key look puts it over the top!:)

    Hi Nickie, I like the pose and composition, but personally this is a little too high-key for my tastes. Would like to see more detail on the light areas of the bird, especially the head.

    Thanks so much for your comments. Actually I think that this image works much better as a print - you can see more detail in the pale areas - always difficult to present this kind of image on a screen!!

    Hi Nicki Creative and interesting to say the least !! I can see how it would look best in a print, all monitors display whites different !!!

    .... btw you were not always standing ... as a mater of fact you were hardly standing ... check out F&F in a couple of minutes !!!

    Very nice Nicki, I might try a different crop to put the bird out of the center. Great job on the blur.
