    This is from last year's Costa Rica trip with Doug Brown and Greg Basco. It was an overcast day, hence the high key treatment. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

    love the high key, katie. has an oriental feel to it. very nice job!!

    I like this a lot. Love the HA and I think you did a great job with exposure to get the high key look. It maybe could use a bit more sharpening. :)

    Hi Katie!
    I love the high-key treatment of this wonderful bird - I remember him well! Beautiful feather detail - sharpness looks good to me. I also love the graphic simplicity of this. Are you going back to Costa Rica soon?

    Hi Katie; I really like overcast, and high-key, and this image! Good job! Great composition, might consider cloning out the odd stick coming from the left. regards~Bill

    Hi Katie. Handsome bird. Bird and branch make for a lovely composition. High key works well. Nicely done. I've got to get to Costa Rica.
