This was taken yesterday at Wakodahatchee. Already by 9 o'clock the sun is bright and the touch of white on the tail of the Gallinule is a touch bright but liked the action captured so decided to post it any way. They are a challenge to capture on the run.

    Great job catching the action!

    Agree with self-critique.
A delight to see and glad you decided to post it.

Great action image, Judy Lynn. I like how you can see the bird's outstretched left leg under the water.

Lovely action, Judy Lynn. The are rare vagrants to our shore and appears a bit smaller than our Purple Swamphen. He was quite near! Beautiful colours and detail on the face.

Difficult bird to photograph in motion. More difficult is to capture all the details in the bird. You have done both so well.

Judy, any fowl running across water is difficult, and to comp it is always a challenge. The light has brought out the colours nicely.

    Judy,

    Love it

Reminds me of the comic "The Roadrunner".
