Default Peregrine Juvi on the Prowl

I don't think I'll ever get tired of photographing these awesome birds. Photographed on an overcast day in California last summer.

Nice dof across the top of the wings and tail. Open beak and eye contact makes this image. Wish for a more complimentary color of sky.

    Sweet!
After having my first experience with these guys the past week--my hat is off to you on this image. Love the eye contact and calling pose---
The only thing that would make it better, is of course better light--but an amazing image considering conditions.

Awesome is right! I really like the head turn, eye contact and pose, and of course great definition and sharpness. I prefer the overcast lighting.

Hi Doug, this is really nice. Pose is fantastic. Here is a repost with some levels, contrast, cooling filter and S/H adjustments.

    Feedback would be appreciated,

    Cheers,
    Ofer

I dont think I will get tired at looking at them. Of course, the open beak and slight head turn puts this over the top. I feel Ofer's post is slightly too magenta.

Great shot. Wonderful sharpness and details. I like the open bill and the head turn.
    Ofer's repost looks even better.

Great shot Doug, the open beak and fanned tail are both excellent, a banking position will take this to the top. There is some noise in the feathers, did you raise the exposure? TFS
