Like the landing pose very much and complementing bg, has a good feel ... snow on belly makes it extra nice. Might try lightening the bird a bit more and running some Gaussian blur over the bg (just a bit) Excellent image !!
Good pose, the dangling feet made me laugh:). The snow and leafless trees give a winter context to the image. I do wish the duck hadn't turned its head slightly away a bit though - and I would have preferred a freshly breeding plumaged individual (but we can't always choose them!).
