Default Time out for Lion trio

Three bros taking time out for a drink break in the delta.
Would have liked a bit more canvas on the left, but I was already at my widest with the 70-200.
    D300 70-200f/2.8VR 1/500s f/4 ISO200@70mm Moremi GR- Botswana Sept '09. Cropped top & bottom to pano.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

    Marc,
Nice to see a three Male coalition, have you tried adding some canvas on left?

I may also crop even more off the top.

    Marc,
Nice image. You could have tried moving in closer with a 17-40 :D Jokes apart, I would consider losing the portion of the tree at the top right. Less space at the back and more infront would have further strengthened the image. I would love to see more space at the top with the tree top at left intact. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,

    Very nice Marc,

To see one out in the open I would describe as "fortunate". Three is taking the mickey !
Great siting with a few options to crop that will give different totally different feels as can be seen by Kens repost.

Agree with a touch more on LHS with either crop.

Hi Marc, I like the OP, as it shows where the lions are in relation to the surrounding bush. Good light, detail and colours, and only wish we had more eye contact.

Another I found here where the comp is not quite as good but the crop is a better one IMO.

Nice to get the 3 in a single frame. I like Ken's idea with the pano crop and added canvas. Would love to have either image in my files. Have to get to Africa, India, Australia ....... You guys are not helping my trip budgeting:). TFS

Really nice to see the lions out in the water like this Marc. I like your second image better and I do think Ken's pano crop works really well with the first image.

Fully agree with Nate !! Pano for first and second going wide !!! ... Marc at times it is possible to do a two or three frame stitch if the animals are still !!! Works !!

Multiple options for crops on this one. Personally prefer the original but would like the see all that tree. Ken's version with no trees works as well. Lack of facial contact works okay for this one due to the similar poses of the three.
