This is my friend Hopalong, getting happy with nature. :)

Took the photo into Topaz Simplify for a pencil watercolor treatment, then applied a canvas texture in PS.

Kerry, Nice work w/ the Topaz filter. I love the stretched out look of the kitty and the curled tail. Might tone down the whites just a bit. Hopalong looks very happy indeed.:)

Kerry, I love the bright green grass and the pose you captured. I wish I had some bright green grass to snuggle into right about now. Soon...

Ha ha ha ha! This pose is so feline! In our drought-stricken area we never see grass half as green <sigh>. Nice job on the PP. Kora

This sure made me smile as I looked out on another day of the white stuff! Happy it is...and the green colors certainly carry the emotion of the image. Might tone down some of the green that is on top of the black fur if this were mine. Oh, my kingdom for some grass!!!

That's one happy-looking kitty, Kerry! :) Love the carefree pose and the vibrant colors. You're making me wish even more for spring and green grass instead of all this white stuff!
