    Default Mew Gull landing

Taken in Halland, Sweden. It's hard to choose photos I like which I won't compete with... :)
I would like just a little more canvas on the right, but in the original image I only had on the left.

One question, now I posted this image like: img src="http://www.pbase.com/regulusphoto/image/114621865/original.jpg"
plus html tags around. Is that why the thumbnail doesn't work? Is there another way to do it?

    (Sorry for my english.. ;))

Welcome to BPN, Sander. Lovely choice for a first post. I don't mind the close edge on the right but you could add canvas in PS if you choose. Check out the Educational resource forum for plenty of PS tips. The gull looks to have a slight blue colour cast. I have tried a version neutralizing that and brightening the midtowns with curves but masking the adjustment only to the gull. Looking forward to more of your birds from Sweden.

Very nice post, Sander! I like the sharpness, landing pose and BG. I like Tony's ideas and might give it a bit more room. It would have been great to have the sun behind you but that is not always possible. Keep them coming and there is no need to apologize for your English, it is perfectly fine. :)

I fixed the link, just start with http and end with original.jpg and you can then use the yellow 'insert image' button above the text box and paste the link. In other words, don't include html code. That way the forum software can create a thumbnail.
