    Hi Folks

Returned home just before sunset last night, rounded the corner and found this Mourning Dove just looking at me. I walked into the house for my camera, and it was still sitting there with a "What took you so long" look about it when I returned.

    CC's invited & appreciated

    Best regards

Having rushed to get the camera, I had it set to previous shoot. If I had been thinking I would have set EV to 0.00 and aperture to F/6.3?

Gus, I love the detail and soft colors of this image. The BG is beautiful. IMHO I would crop the bottom reflection since it cuts thru the head and eye. Maybe also a little off the top and make it more of a horizontal than vertical. Fabulous capture.... Congrats!

    Hi Richard

Thanks for looking and your kind comment and heads up on the crop. I took your advice.
First I cropped it to take rim of bird bath out of corner and extended left side. Then using rectangular marquee I selected left side about half inch top to bottom. Then using Transform I dragged part marqueed out to extended crop.

I think it looks much better . . . what do you think?

    Appreciate your suggestion

I like the soft light and details. The repost is nice but if you got the whole reflection a portrait crop including the reflection would be nice.
