Up close of bison in winter. One more before I go back to the puppies:D. Will either burn bright grass or remove if I print this.

It's the great eye contact for me here Todd, well done, nice detail & exp also with the snow around the nose adding a nice touch. As you said, I'd take out the grass stalks on right also.

Yeah, the grass in the lower right is distracting. I like the "crazy eye".

agree about the grass (distracting) and about the eye contact. Great image. Snow on the beard adds, also.

Good detail Todd, and love the beady eye you are getting. The snow around the nose and mouth certainly does add interest. Well captured.

I think it has all been said Todd. Eye and Snow on nose make this one.

I thought I posted yesterday, but apparently not.

    The Aye has it!

I would love to see the finished article with the grass"removed"

For Ken, I quickly removed bright grass. As expected it greatly improves the image. Could even remove grass in front of bison as well. But for now only the distracting ones across body.
Thanks for everyone taking the time to comment, appreciated.

Nicely done portrait Todd. Repost looks real good and I think I'd remove the rest of the grasses if printing just to get rid of that yellow color (keep it just warm browns and cool blues/white/grays). Wide open eye pulls you right in to the photo.
