    Grub's Up!

British robins are normally the least afraid of humans and this one was no exception. One minute he was sitting on the fence post checking me out then he disappeared for a second and came back with his lunch which disappeared in 5 frames!

I like the bird's pose, and it's lunch. It could use another round of sharpening though as it currently lacks detail in the feathers and on the perch. The whitewash could easily be cleaned away too. I've always enjoyed photographs of your robins from overseas :-)

Nice pose, light and BG. I find the perch a bit dominant and would sharpen the bird a bit more. Maybe you could crop a bit off the bottom since the bird is quite centered anyways.

Great job getting him with the grub worm.......certainly adds to the interest. I agree with the others.....another round of USM. Maybe a little off the bottom and on the left to get him out of the center.

Nice behavior. I agree on the sharpening but would suggest selective sharpening on just the bird, excluding the background.
