Hi everyone, here's another image of elephants from Etosha National Park. This was taken in the early afternoon in quite bright light. The herd of female elephants would jog into the waterhole together. I wouldn't mind a little more room on the left but this is full frame and I was happy to fit both youngsters into the same image.

I love this one. Yes, maybe a tiny bit more on the left, but the poses are fantastic, the mother's eye makes all the difference to telling "the story", and the "pairs" being substantially in different light is just wonderful - don't think you could have positioned the change to shade better, either (or perhaps you did?). Not sure the tail of the first mother is helpful, but it's hardly worth mentioning.

    Hi Nate,
I like the dust and the raised feet on this image. I agree that a bit more space would have been nice on both sides.

Nate, I like how the youngsters are tucked in next to the parents. Glad you got the tip of the trunk of the youngster on the left. I would maybe tone the overall image just a tad.

Nice to see the little ones tucked in nice and safe. A bit more space has been mentioned and dust is a bonus. Well done. TFS

Very well done, young elephants are so often on the "wrong" side of the big ones!
Agree with a little more space, especially on the left; love the dust and movement. Those white stones cry "Etosha"!

Great image of the White Elephants of Etosha. This picture captures for me the perennial problem with young ellies mum is always in the way!

This is a lovely image with a big cuteness factor as well. Love these dusty Etosha images and you did a great job here Nate. The pose of the baby in front is adorable.:)

    Hey Nate,
I like the light of this. The dust and raised legs of the young ones makes me think of the extra effort and care they have to use to keep up and out out of the way of the adults.
