    Steven Read, borne Tampa Florida, HS St.Pete.Fla, Military..all over 41/2 years. Moved to Hawaii to surf and never left. Anthropology. degree from Univ. HI. Branch mgr. for a Caterpillar equipment dealer and later worked for a Sugar plantation. Always had an interest in photography... Opened a studio in Lihue, Kauai, HI. Did everything except weddings!! Fellow photog. friends recently got me interested in bird photography and here I am!!
    Shooting with a Canon Mk111. Soon to a mkIV, I hope.. Have a 600MM non IS,100-400 IS,70-200 IS, 1.4ll, several tripods, Assortment of studio flashes and 2 Canon flashes.
    Have a wonderful wife from Germany that I met on Waikiki beach. She was on vacation and I was giving surfing lessons. 1 daughter that works at the VA Hosp. in San Diego.
    Am Photo shop challenged but trying.. Appreciate all the help, thank you, glad to be aboard. Steve

    Welcome to BPN, Steven! Make sure to check out the tutorial forum. This should help a lot with postprocessing your images.

    Tried to post some photos but could not
    find any simple instructions how to post the
    right size using PS4. Think I got it worked out
    but have been evacuated from house because of
    tsunami warning. First I grabed was my cameras!

    I'll keep my fingers crossed that the tsunami won't be too strong.
