Made at the Mankwe hide in the Pilanesberg nature reserve, South Africa. I added some canvas to the top and removed some distracting reeds.

Sharp image with nice BG, the blurred wings don't bother me. The piece of reed behind the front foot is a little distracting.

Nice action Steve. I have so many of these (not of Bishops!) where the bird is jumping off the perch but they are rarely in focus like yours is. BG is super. I would attempt to remove the OOF reed below the foot of the bird.

Lovely to see a sharp one like this, Stephen. AGree on getting rid of the rest of the reed below the foot. Wondering about boosting the saturation and contrast a bit?

    Stephen:
Well exposed bird, sharp, nice colors. I would be tempted to burn in the reed he is launching form, too bright as is.

    Cheers
