    Default Termite tantrums!

This young male Ele had been involved in a late evening tussle with a slightly older/larger male for around 20 mins or so and had come off second best, so he decided to take his frustration & anger out on this termite mound!
Completely destroying, and flattening it and even kicking it in the end! ......kids, they'll never learn.:D

I like this one Marc. Nice colors and detail, the crack in the mound gives it a sense of action, like it was taken at the moment the mound fell apart. I'd lighten/blend the dark spot in the BG above the mound (another ele?).

    Hi Marc,

A great moment well recorded. It looks determined. I might lose some of the OOF foreground.

Marc, I like the low perspective here, and well timed to show him " cracking open" the termite mound. Good detail captured on the ellie too.

Hi Marc, when I first saw this I really liked it as the image is full of character. I understand that people say that we shouldn't bring emotion in when you look at animals and liken their habits to humans, but hey, get real in my book. Elephants are hugely intelligent as this illustrates, they have a curious and playful spirit and are great just to sit and watch for a change.
