    Very nice pose with the foot up and all. Well exposed and sharp. Marginal head angle. It has a blue cast, I tried and fix it in Curves, placing the gray eyedropper on the neutral gray on his right leg. This is what came up, hope you like it.

    Thanks Fabs. You are right (of course) about the blue cast. I wasnt actually trying to create a new species, the Blue-footed Curlew, so I will follow your suggestion.

    The blue cast struck me right away too, Stephen. Should be an easy fix. Otherwise, good sharpness and comp, as well as an elegant pose in nice light with a good fore- and background.
