    I never did see this beauty leave the confines of the reeds. I wish it had. I photographed this Ani at Anhinga in the Everglades with my Canon 1d MK IV handheld. ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/400 sec, EF100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USm, 520mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome...

    Great view of the Ani Richard !!! Cute bird but does have a wild look !!!

    Did get the bird fairly open and do like seeing the vegetation around him/her !!

    Like the bird with the habitat Richard. Good colour and detail in the feathers.
