    I can see why.
Nice pose and great soft light.
I would like more room above the top wing.
I initially took your copyright symbol for something in the background...smaller and more distinct would be a more effective I believe.

    Thanks John.

There was no room at the top wing...thats where it was on the frame.

Love the intense stare of this beautifully marked juvi. Captured in a perfect banking position against a nice BG. Focus is as sharp as it's talons.

Excellent photo and more ammunition for me to save up for a 500. With my 7D I use a 300 2.8 with the 1.4 and 2.0 but never seem to get this snap.

Here is another of the same eagle...cropped from the side only. the wings tips filled the frame end to end.

Very beautiful pose and great details, perfect exposure too, comp wise it is too tight on top and bottom, I would add canvas on top and bottom and the repair the missing primary tip. Will look better in a vert with more room in front.

    Very nice shot, TFS

Great action. Wonderful sharpness and very good wing pose. Exposure is also perfect on both the dark and white feathers. The second image is also great.

I agree with the others about a little more room at the top.

It was funny as soon as I saw the thumbnail I was going to ask if it was 14:D - I have been there too many times apparently. Great job keeping it in the frame - not always easy. Both images are great - the first needs a little contrast added - the second snaps right out. Nice one Mark - looks like you had a successful trip even with the clouds.

    Dan,

Cloudy can be good but some sun can be too... I am headed back to 14 this weekend as the forecast is terrific from Thursday to Sunday... Let's see what I come up with this weekend.
