Let me know what you think. Oh and I changed my watermark to a smaller one, if it bothers you, too bad
Please critique on the image, not the watermark, thank you.

Great moment in nature, love the size of the bird in the frame given the habitat and low angle is spot on. Exposure techs seem solid. I like the composition but debate the foreground rock, it anchors and also distracts let's see what others say - either way this is a nice shot and I like the feeding action - nice catch:).

Jeff, thank you. I had trouble trying to find a way to crop to balance the rocks out. Love to hear what others have to say.

Hi Troy - lots to like here - exposure is spot on, sharp and great action.
As to the foreground rock - When I first look at it - it does not bother me - after looking at it for a while though it starts to bother me - drawing my attention.
Doesnt look like much you could do though - were you hidden behind the rocks there???

    Lance,

Thank you. It was at a state park on a small stream. I think it could have been better if I moved slightly left. But the little guy did not stay too long, although he put on a show for this shot.

    Hi Troy

The image is really nice and has impact !! Cropping wise might take a little of the bottom but would still like seeing some of the rock. The entire composition just works for me !! Finding these guys in the open at a good angle is unusual, great timing !!! For printing might clone out the dry leaf? right behind the bird !!! Fine image !!!

I burned the rocks to sort of making them less noticeable.

    Al,

Thank you. When I shot this, I knew the leaf would be distracting. I am going to try to clone it out but my cloning skill is awful. I agree it is a bit distracting.

Fabs, when you burnt it, which burn option did you use? Highlight?

How about my version of re-edit? Darker rocks, and cloned away the leaf.
