Friday, the sleet came down. Saturday, the snow came down. Sunday I gave up and stayed in bed. :( The only time I got up was to throw out some more bird food and replenish the water supply at the feeders. This image was taken through the glass doors that look out on my deck (or should I say my ice rink?)

Tonight, the weatherman said it was going to get to 45 on Sunday and possibly into the 60's by next week. Be still my beating heart. I am SO over winter and I'm willing to bet the Starlings would agree with me!

I saw two ladybugs yesterday up here Julie. We have hardly had any snow this winter (fingers and toes crossed). Let's hope for daffodils and crocii (:)) soon.

Alfred, you don't know how wrong you are! We've had 14 different "snow events" since December started and 3 of them have lasted an entire week or longer. Enough is enough!

I hear you, Julie. Last night and this morning we've gotten 7-9 in. of snow and counting, and I'm still getting over a cold to boot! :(
