    Default Water drops

Taken few weeks ago at the Charles River in Waltham MA.
I liked the bill colors on this bird so I decided to go for a portrait.
I didn't realize I got the drops too...:)
    CC appreciated.

Dramatic light and colors Ilija! Very sharp and the water drops are a big plus. The dark blue background works well with the white bird. Well done.

    Ilija:

Dramatic image, the double drips are great, drops on head, good.
The dark blue background is very effective (per Steve)

I might try a version with just a bit less contrast.

    Cheers

What a stunning BG against the white. The water droplets really make this one. You have a nice head angle and light. A little more room on right and bottom may work if you have it. This is a different blue than we are used to seein down here.

Wonderful portrait. Great light and colors. The background is fantastic.
Very good sharpness. The water drops are wonderful, especially the drops below the bill.

    Marina, thanks for the comments.
I didn't have room at the bottom, so the crop was dictated by the distance of the bottom drop from the edge.

Wow, I have almost the EXACT, and I mean exact, same shot! How funny is that?! :)

I guess you can say I'm biased then, but I really like this shot. The water and combine to form a potent picture here. Very well done.
