Default Artie doing it on the Hooptie Deux

    Attached Images Attached Images

Well in the water next to the Hooptie Deux.

    Nikon D700 with 16mm lens.
    1/320 SS @ F11
Flash at 0 with Ray Flash attached.

It was 11am and we were wrapping it up for the day. The light was very contrasty and strong side lighting cause some lens flare.

But still a fun OOTB technique for portraits.

Neat image, James! I love what the lens did to the trees in the BG.

Artie, I'm guessing that's your 800mm on the tripod but what are you hand holding? Is that a 600mm? It looks huge!

Good point Froggie, but it might actually be "You can take the boy out of Bushwick, but you can't take the Bushwick out of the boy.

Bushwick is the dead-crack ghetto on the Brooklyn/Queens border where I taught for 23 years.
