    EOS 7D, 4/500, handheld
    ISO 160, f5, 1/2500

Slight crop of left, bottom and top and a little more from the right to get a better composition.
(The resulting image was about 11 MP).

I am still learning the various AF options of the 7D.
Last time I shot all pictures with Zone AF (the central 9) and had great results.
This time, I shot all with the central sensor and the neighboring 4 sensors.
I can't see much difference in the keeper rate (I shot mostly gulls, geese and ducks) so far.

But I will try and play a lot more as the AF of the 7D will take some time to be mastered!

It looks like your AF worked perfectly on this one, Marcus. Very sharp, good exposure, and nice detail in the shadowed underwing. I might prefer a little more room all around, but that's a matter of taste. :)

Focus seems to be right on, sharpness good. Agree on all the points on Steve's post and will add that I see some grain in the blues.
Will be looking forward to more 7D pics, I though it was a very nice camera.

Great flight image, great sharpness and plumage detail.
The AF seems to be working nicely. I only wish you did not have the
shadow on the wing but excellent flight image as is too.
