A great HELLO from Sopron!
I'm glad to be a participant of the community.
Briefly about me: I'm a freetime birdwatcher, nature photographer and a member of Birdlife Hungary since 27 years. I live in the northwestern part of Hungary, near the small town Sopron. My favorite places for nature photography are the forests near my hometown and the National Park Fertő-Hanság/Neusiedlersee.
For capturing birds and mammals I currently use a good old Canon 10D with a Canon 400/5,6L lens and a Manfrotto monopod, for flowers and insect I use the same body with a Zeiss-Sonnar 135/3,5 and M42 extension tubes. Other accessories: wooden tripod, Grizzly G20 tent.
My first nature photography homepage go online these month (sorry, now just in Hungarian, the names of the species are written in German, English and Latin too)
For the newest events I have started a photoblog (in Hungarian)
If You have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email me or write a comment to my blog or in my guestbook
Best wishes and Good Birding!

P.S.: Sorry for my bad English, I never learn it in a school, just from TV, Radio and the NET ;-)
