    Another image where the 7d focused amazingly well in tough conditions. Snow was falling and the contrast was low. I had no trouble at all with this flyby..

    Dale you are killing me with these images, the bald eagle and now this harrier. I cannot get these guys with sunshine! Of course we would like the head in the clear, but hey we would like to win the lotto too:D. Glad your new equipment is working so well for you. Congrats!!

    Very nice Dale,

    I like the talons against the white BKGR. The conditions have tested the AF system and you have done very well.

    Very nice high key exposure, detail is nice too, tail area has a bit of grain and wish for better wing position.

    I like this a lot. The white BG is great here. The snow flakes make it even better.

    Beautiful capture, Dale and I know how hard focus can be when snow is falling, Love that bird, just got my frsit chance at him a couple of weeks ago.

    Sounds like the camera had an easy time focussing!! I like the pose, and the high-key element to the image. Was +1 EC enough? The noise suggests you may have had to up the exposure during post-processing...
