I had shot this dhole or Indian wild dog in rain at Nagarholle National Park, India. This shot is not cropped. I was following a pack and they were having fun with each other. One of them came closer and sat near the vehicle. Decided to do a tight composition.

    Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 300mm F4 L IS USM lens, 1/200, F4, ISO 200.

Really like the dog, soft light, green background and the leaves at the dog's feet.

I am not crazy about the rock and the legs in the BG. The crop is a bit tighter than I like to make.

    Hi Sabyasachi.

Nice sharpness in the dog and the profile makes him look very serious. Besides the thinks that Robert O'Toole mentioned, a bit more room at the bottom would help anchor the image. Don't forget to move around once you make an image as a different vantage point will yield a different look and BG and perhaps one with less distraction.

Like the crop on the dog better in this image.. Still need a bit of room on top and the legs of the other dog are a distraction.
