It was a great hide and seek we did on the desert. after chasing almost for 15 minutes on the other side of those mounds i luckily got two frames from which one was out focus as these shy birds are good runner and dont stay still.
wish could get full legs visible .. better luck for next time
I like this image very much Mital. It's essentially a natural duotone with the bird, perch and BG matching so well. The image is sharp and the head angle is just right IMO. The mud perch is quite big and to some degree distracts. Maybe a bit off the bottom may reduce this. Very well done.
You sure seem to have worked hard to capture this bird. Your exposure looks great. You have a wonderful angle on the bird and your background is very nice. I only wish that I could see more of the bird's legs. Keep on trying!
Sounds like you had lots of fun!! I like the matching colour theme here, and I like the bird's alert posture (and notice the perfect HA). Good techs, and awesome BG. I do wish you angle wasn't as steep (feels like we are looking up at the bird) and that the perch wouldn't cover pars of the body. As posted I'm finding there is bit much room above and as much as half of it could be cropped out for a bit better comp balance IMO.
