Seeing that most wanted to see the colour version of my previous post - here it is. The FG grass is as is, and was not blurred in processing. The B&W version is 17 images below.

    Stuart,
Both the versions are good and different. In this colour version, my eyes immediately focussed on the flower at the left due to its colour. Where as in the black and white version that didn't attract my attention as much. If I remember correctly, the horizon line was not prominent in the black and white. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

    Stuart,

This is IMHO far better, I love the flower, still would have preferred the calf to have been slightly more visible!
I have to confess that I believe colour to generally be better to B & W, apart from the early colour images where the quality was often not very good.

Great image, Stu, the eye of the front zebbie immediately caught my attention. I see the pesky pompom flower is spreading more and more!

The colour and B&W versions have individual appeal.

If I had to pick I would go for colour and still wish the third Zebra would have moved into the space between the other two.

Prefer this to the B&W as well Stuart, and agree with Ken's summary, the flower also adds a nice touch.

Another vote for the color version. Also like the splash of color provided by the purple flower.

The lavender flower on the left adds a lot to what is already an excellent zebra image.

I like B&W almost as much as colour, but in this case I think the colours in the setting really make the picture, and so a very strong vote for colour (so much so, that it would be really interesting to know why you thought it would be better in B&W? ).

Stunning Stu! This version is my favourite by far and I knew those little purple/magenta flowers will look great.:)

Both versions are great. We see in color so we are naturally drawn to it, both have different appeal! Blown up big I think I would choose the b/w. TFS
