    This shot was a bit soft because of a very slow shutter speed and suffered from a very busy grassy background. So I had some fun and selected the bird, applied the glow line filter from PS and turned the background black.

    Nice image and application, Noah.

    I might suggest that you play with the lighting in the glow line filter, or with brightness and contrast filter a little. I think that a little extra either brightness of the lines or contrast adjustment would help. But ...

    Nice image and well done. Just a little tweaking, in my view.

    I've attached an example for your infomation. I just did the B/C adjustment in this.

    Noah, Nice effect applied. I think Mark's repost looks nice. I wish the eye wasn't soft-have you tried to add some sharpening? Nice work getting the BG clutter free.:)

    Mark and Denise, thank you for the feedback. I ran another filter on the bird and I think the result is better. The eye sharpness is key.

    Interesting effect. Might try lightening the eye a little bit too.
