    Made this image right at sundown in that beautiful golden light. Even though the late evening light was directly hitting this beauty, the reflection of the light off of the main building almost added backlight. I liked the effect. Created at Green Cay wetlands.1DMKIIN 400DO 2xtc ISO 800 F11@1/320

    Well done. Love the light and the sharpness and the head angle. If you had gotten as little as one or two inches lower, you would have had more separation between the bill and the dark strip. This would have improved the image quite a bit.

    That eye really draws the viewers attention. Also the soft colrs in the BG compliment the feather color.

    Great light, details and pose. I don't mind the darker part in the BG.

    Thanks for the suggestions, as always! Yes Jim, the eye reflection of the setting sun is pretty cool at full resolution.
    Yes, Artie, I saw that shadow in the BG and didn't realize it would come that high. I did like it as a base.
