For Want of a Sharper Head....
I created this intentional blur on a cloudy partly foggy morning on the SW FLA President's Week IPT with the Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS lens with the 1.4X II TC (handheld at 246mm) with the EOS-1D MIV. Fill flash at -1 stop. I love everything about this one especially the mangrove BKGR but wish that the head were a bit more well defined.

Like this blur a lot Artie. What is the white at the bottom. Also are you using second curtain flash? Looking forward to practicing this technique.
Artie, I like this a lot. The color bands in the background and the mangroves peaking through the wing blur makes it for me... a modern painting perhaps!
Love the colors and the movement in this. But the white band at the bottom keeps drawing my eyes out of the frame. KB
